BIOGRAPHY

Clarisse Dalles began her musical training at the Versailles Conservatory, where she studied piano. At the age of 15, she discovered opera through her involvement with the French Radio Children’s Choir. She later pursued Voice studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), under the guidance of Frédéric Gindraux. She also studied at the Philippe Jarrousky Music Academy.
As a passionate performer of Lieder and French songs, Clarisse has received several prizes, including the Young Hope Prize at the Gordes International Lieder and Melody Competition, the Presence Composers Prize at the Marmande International Competition, and the Best Duo Prize at the Toulouse International French Melody Competition. Recently, alongside the pianist Joseph Birnbaum, she was awarded the Villecroze Academy Prize, at the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition 2025.
In 2022, she was named a Classical Talent Revelation by Adami.
Acclaimed for her “remarkable French diction,” Clarisse Dalles is frequently invited to perform this repertoire with ensembles such as Palazzetto Bru Zane, Ensemble Il Caravaggio and Les Frivolités Parisiennes.
Her 2024/25 season include a tour of André Messager’s Coup de Roulis, by Les Frivolités Parisiennes, where she is performing the role of Béatrice, notably, at Opéra Clermont Auvergne and Opéra de Reims. With Il Caravaggio, Clarisse is performing La Fortune in Campra’s Le Carnaval de Venise, at Théâtre Impérial de Compiègne, Opéra de Rennes and Scène Nationale de Besançon, among others. During this season, she is a resident artist at the Académie de l’Opéra Royal de Versailles, where she has already performed the role of Second Witch in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas.
In the previous seasons, Clarisse has performed as Béatrice in Le Carnaval de Venise, at Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet in Paris and Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing. At the Festival Nuits Lyriques de Marmande, she sang the role of Miss Ellen in L. Delibes’ Lakmé. With Palazzetto Bru Zane, she sang Totte in Maurice Yvain’s Yes!, at A. T. Louis-Jouvet, Opéra de Reims and several other French theatres. In 2022, she debuted at the Opéra de Toulon, singing the solo part in Mozart’s Requiem.
In March 2024, Clarisse Dalles released her first album, Filiations, recorded with the pianist Anne Le Bozec, by the label Présence Compositrices.
Among her next commitments, she will perform the role of Junon in Charpentier’s Actéon, at the Opéra Royal de Versailles, and will pursuit the tour of Coup de Roulis, with Les Frivolités Parisiennes.
