BIOGRAPHY

Born in Mestre (VENEZIA), Greta Cipriani started her musical path by attending the middle school. She studied violin at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Venice, being part of Roberto Zedda’s class. She obtained the 1st level academic diploma in Opera Singing at the same conservatory, studying with Giancarlo Pasquetto, Paola Romanò, Federica Bragaglia and Sara Mingardo.

 

Awarded by the Second Prize “Lukas Franceschini”, at the Tulio Serafin Competition 2019, and Second Prize at the competition “New Talents – City of Spinea, she continues her vocal development under precious advice of Simone Piazzola and Giuseppe Vaccaro.

 

In 2023, Greta made an important debut singing Laureta in Gianni Schicchi and Suor Genovieffa in Suor Angelica, both by G. Puccini, at the Teatre Principal de Palma de Mallorca . In this same year, she sang with the Orchestra dei Colli Morenici, conducted by Giuseppe Vaccaro, at the Stelle Della Lirica Concert in Valeggio sul Mincio (VR). In 2022, she performed for the first time in Czech Republic, singing the role of Livius in Bodorová’s Quo Vadis, at the J K Tyl Theatre, Pilsen. In September 2021, Greta made her debut as Ines in Verdi’s Trovatore, at the Verdi Theatre in Pisa, conducted Marco Guidarini and directed by Enrico Stinchelli. In July 2020, she was selected to participate in the Puccini Academy of Torre Del Lago Festival, where she sang La Zia in Puccini's Madama Butterfly, conducted by Enrico Calesso and directed by Manu Lalli, at the Gran Teatro Puccini.
